October 3rd, the giant flea market at the Karlshorst trotting track starts again. Here you can find upmarket flea market culture, art and cultural artefacts from all decades.

Tip 1: The colourful - Trödelmarkt Marheinekeplatz
The historic town square is particularly beautiful at the flea market in Bergmannkiez. It offers enough space to stroll through the rows in peace. The main items on sale here are second-hand clothes, toys and homemade items. But you will also find books, CDs and records as well as art and antiques among the stalls. After browsing, you can grab a bite to eat at the nearby Marheineke Markthalle on Saturdays.

Tip 2: The Original Berliner - Arkonaplatz flea market
Under the old lime trees, the market women were already standing on Arkonaplatz a hundred years ago. Today, it is mainly families from the neighbourhood who come here to combine a visit to the flea market with the great playground next door. The flea market mainly sells fashion, second-hand clothing, books and recordings. At the northern end are traders with large pieces of furniture and lamps. Lined with trees, you can stroll along the market avenue in a particularly green atmosphere.

Tip 3: The historic flea market Rathaus Schöneberg
The place where John F. Kennedy once stood and professed to be a Berliner, many people now cavort between the rows of tents of hobby junk dealers every weekend. Mingle with the colourful crowd of like-minded people in search of bargains in the form of clothing, books, electrical goods and other bric-a-brac.

Tip 4: The cosy one - Flea market at Kranoldplatz
The idyllic art and second-hand market at Kranoldplatz has a lot to offer. At this flea market, you'll find vintage treasures, art, fashion, books and handmade jewellery at the stalls. There will also be street food and musical accompaniment. From 17 March to 10 November, the flea market takes place every second Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.

Tip 5: The intellectual - antique and book market at the Bodemuseum
Every weekend, numerous book and antique dealers line up their stalls along the Spree. Their tables are filled with a wide range of books, art and small pieces of furniture. These include affordable modern antiques and genuine rarities. Once you've found the original edition of your favourite author, it will be difficult to move on from here.

Tip 6: The jewellery - Art and flea market Fehrbelliner Platz
In addition to the usual range of clothing, bags, household goods, books, records and CDs, what makes the Fehrbi flea market so special is the art mile. The area opposite the Park Café, marked by a red carpet, is reserved for artists who exhibit their paintings, drawings, ceramics, jewellery and furniture. A must-do among Berlin's flea markets for all art enthusiasts.

Tip 7: The Kiezige - Flea market on Boxhagener Platz
The flea market around the "Boxi" is one of our favourites. From surprise egg figures to antiques, you can find everything you can imagine at a flea market here. The location in the centre of Simon-Dach-Kiez with all its cafés is also perfect for your Sunday outing.

Tip 8: The traditional flea market on Street of the 17th June
The flea market on Straße des 17. Juni is a genuine Berlin original. Founded in 1978, it is probably the oldest flea market in the city. It's worth browsing here: among the range of bric-a-brac, you'll also find real collector's items with rare value. Old farmhouse cupboards and fine porcelain from earlier times are looking for someone who wants to haggle for them. Attached to the market is a crafts market with hand-knitted items, wooden toys, ceramics and much more.

Tip 9: The Noble - Antique market at Ostbahnhof
The street on the north side of Ostbahnhof is a central meeting point for antique dealers and collectors on Sundays. The wide range of professional sellers ranges from small items such as stamps, coins and postcards to antiquarian books, records, porcelain and large pieces of furniture.

Tip 10: The trendy one - Nowkölln Flowmarkt
The idyllic location on the Landwehr Canal attracts many a market operator. On Tuesdays and Fridays from 11 am to 6:30 pm, traders loudly offer their fruit and vegetables at the BiOriental-Markt and on Saturdays, Berlin design students cavort at the fabric market. Every second Sunday, the Maybachufer then belongs to Berlin designers, who offer printed shirts, handmade jewellery and accessories for browsing and haggling. There will also be plenty of culinary delights and artistic performances.

Tip 11: The legendary flea market in Mauerpark
Between picnics, music and a good mood, you can stroll through the large flea market in Mauerpark on Sundays. Mauerpark is one of the most popular parks in Berlin and is known for its sunny Sundays, when lots of people gather to simply have a good time together. Extratip: The antique mile on Suarezstraße
For all those who still haven't had enough, here's an extra tip from us: In late summer, Suarezstraße in Charlottenburg hosts the Antikmeile, a unique street festival. It is particularly worth a visit for lovers of antiques and unusual items - even during the rest of the year. Over 25 shops selling art, antiques, jewellery and curiosities are lined up along the few metres between Kaiserdamm and Kantstraße. Since the 1970s, this street has offered a unique variety of antiques. Each shop has its own focus and is a journey of discovery through different styles and eras.
