My gut tells me this isn't legit; I can't imagine Varese giving this up, and I don't think an obscure company (which looks more like a store) would be the ones to get the rights (I'd think one of the other labels would get it first).

Out of those two films, I'm glad Silvestri scored the one I was interested in. I would not trade one for the either. That said, I would happily buy an expanded Predator 2.

Plus, I hate their condemning of the Varese album, which is a solid 45 minutes of the best highlights from the film, not "a watered down compilation" in the slightest, as they describe. Whatever. Poorly mixed, alternate cues, shitty presentation. 'Watered down' is too good.

Swinging Rude Boys (02:35) 5. Voodoo Posse Massacre (??:??) 6. The Penthouse (??:??) 7. Danny Gets It (??:??) -Film and 1990 CD version are completely different. 8. Truly Dead (04:54) 9. Rest in Pieces (01:30) 10. Subway Carnage (??:??) 11. Tunnel Chase (??:??)-Shortened for the 1990 CD 12. Slaughterhouse Fight (??:??) 13. Surgery (??:??) 14. Dem Bones (04:26) 15. Predators (??:??) 16. End Title (08:45) I saw this brought up the other day and am shocked that I (along with everyone else) forgot about the cue which would really come second in a complete release. Remember the piece for when Harrigan charges toward the gang members in his car? Remember that? It would be numero dos. In fact, the opening of the above link sounds fairly similar to that cue, with the statement of the five notes from the main theme and all. It lost me when it went into the theme Silvestri wrote for the second film based on his four note danger motive. I'd be really interested in what else might have been recorded. That's saying something for me. I typically don't like alternates. I guess this is different because I really am hungry for more Silvestri-written Predator material. And the fact that track four was mis-titled "Truly Dead" on the Varese album has always annoyed me... So, without any further adieu: 1. Main Title (02:42) 2. Hostage Rescue (or "Hey A$$holes!") (??:??) 3. El Scorpio (02:39) 4. First Carnage (02.36) 5. Swinging Rude Boys (02:35) 6. Voodoo Posse Massacre (??:??) 7. The Penthouse (??:??) 8. Danny Gets It (??:??) -Film and 1990 CD version are completely different. 9. Truly Dread (04:54) 10. Rest in Pieces (01:30) 11. Subway Carnage (??:??) 12. Tunnel Chase (??:??)-Shortened for the 1990 CD 13. This is History (Don't know the exact length) 14. Slaughterhouse Fight (??:??) 15. Surgery (??:??) 16. Dem Bones (04:26) 17. Predators (??:??) 18. End Title (08:45) My two cents. [Post edited to reflect the existence of "This is History" in the tracklist. How in the name of Silvestri did we both forget this?!?]

They also did "The Thing", which any kid could have mastered or even indexed in a better way. Remember that Lukas rightly banned a user (probably the guy behind this "label") for advertising the Conan "release". Don't buy their CDs, awfully produced, cheap rear rips, badly indexed, wrongly titled and cheaply printed. JFYI. Best, Burnie

I just want to let you all know that I am most like be off a few seconds here and there. This is due to the SFX, and I couldn't really hear some of the music that would fad in and/or out. So I believe the entire score runs around a little over 76 minutes from the film. As Ka-razyfilmscorefan confirmed a couple of the previous Varese tracks were edited and these selections were slightly longer in the film. Thanks everyone. Fingers crossed for a DX Ed.

The mastering firm that did the Abyss has indicated that a new release of Predator 2 is in the pipeline. Perhaps in the next Varese Club? Also exciting that a new release of Enter the Dragon may be coming The original news was broken over at jwfan.net per this link: http://www.jwfan.com/forums/index.php?s=c4c3a996eb5d36f492f2f3230398ed0c&showtopic=24430 Chris
